矮椭球星系中金属丰度分布的数值模拟

摘要
最近的观测表明,尽管银河系的矮椭球卫星星系中恒星的平均金属丰度较低,但这些系统中极低金属丰度恒星的数量却很少。我们对矮星系的恒星形成和金属增丰进行了数值模拟,以验证这一结果是否可以用“标准”假设重现。答案很可能是否定的,除非观测中存在对极低金属丰度恒星的选择偏差。
