14.6 GeV/核子重离子碰撞中的核透明率与有效 NN 截面

摘要
对中心 Si-Cu 和 Si-Pb 碰撞计算了入射核子无相互作用穿过靶核的概率。特别关注对具有大横向能量的事件有贡献的碰撞参数范围。对 E814 数据的拟合要求有效 NN 截面为 sigma_eff=54.2+-5.0mb（相比于自由空间值 sigma_in=30mb），并被解释为与 wounded 靶核子相关。
