这是为杂弦一代所写关于开弦与非定向弦的一系列补救性讲座。特别聚焦于在T对偶下出现的有趣特征——D-膜与orientifold。最后一次讲座讨论了在弦对偶中的应用。绝无双关语。由J. P.于1995年11月16日至12月5日在ITP所做的讲座。参考文献更新至1996年1月25日。
