繁殖粒子沉降中的非平衡相变

摘要
我们通过数值和解析方法研究了活性繁殖粒子（如重力场中生长的细菌）沉降悬浮液的动态。在稳态下，我们发现了一个非平衡相变，介于类似于被动胶体沉降平衡的“沉降”机制和粒子密度在样本顶部和底部之外处处恒定的“均匀”机制之间。我们讨论了粒子密度涨落在确定相变点中的重要性，并报告了早期时间的沉降动力学。
