对星系团的深度射电观测已充分证明了星系团内介质中存在宇宙线和弱磁场。然而，对于高精度宇宙学至关重要的大尺度结构非热成分的详细物理表征仍然缺失。我将展示将数值和理论工作与新一代射电、伽马射线和X射线仪器的星系团观测相结合的重要性。
