FRB~20240114A是一个极其活跃的重复快速射电暴,有人提出等离子体透镜效应来解释其爆发率变化、光谱演化以及明显的“碳拷贝”爆发对。利用FAST数据和公开可用的Parkes观测,我们使用一维高斯等离子体透镜模型检验了这一解释。尽管爆发率增强可以单独拟合,但相应的放大峰和去放大谷的偏移远大于预测,并且没有显示出一致的周期性。此外,由于探测到超过10,000次爆发,少数明显的“碳拷贝”对很容易偶然出现。在提议的透镜效应期间,爆发带宽没有系统地变窄,在预测的放大期间,爆发能量也没有显著增强。这些结果没有提供令人信服的证据表明单个高斯等离子体透镜能解释观测到的变率,这更可能由固有的源活动主导。
