NGC6822: 短周期变星、星系演化与距离尺度

摘要
报告对NGC6822矮星际星系中短周期变星研究的结果。我们观察到从水平分支到经典星心期星区几乎均匀分布的经典不稳定条带。通过对这一淡样本的分析，我们实现了该星系首次发现RR Lyrae星。
