摘要
我们描述了EU DataGrid(EDG)项目中下一代网格数据管理中间件的架构与初步实现。新架构源自我们在运行初始网格数据管理服务两年中所积累的经验与收集的用户需求。我们所有新服务均基于Web Service技术范式,与新兴的开放网格服务体系结构(OGSA)高度一致。我们将组件模块化,并从设计到采用精简的构建与测试框架,在构建安全、可扩展且健壮的服务方面投入了大量精力。我们的服务组件包括:副本定位服务、副本元数据服务、副本优化服务、副本订阅以及高层副本管理。服务安全基础设施完全支持GSI,因此兼容现有的基于Globus Toolkit 2的服务;此外,它允许根据服务语义调整的细粒度授权机制。
