摘要
互联网正在改变我们的社会,这需要对互联网流量进行定量理解。我们的团队收集并整理了规模最大的公开可用互联网流量数据集。利用MIT SuperCloud中10,000个处理器对500亿个数据包的分析揭示了一个新现象:在互联网流量中,原本不可见的叶节点与孤立链路的重要性。我们的分析进一步表明,一个双参数修正Zipf-Mandelbrot分布准确地描述了在跨越多年与多个大洲的数据集上、移动采样窗口从100,000到100,000,000个数据包的多种源/目的统计特性。所测得的模型参数可区分不同的网络流,且模型叶参数与不同底层网络拓扑中流量占比强相关。
