摘要

Gerry Brown 对我的物理学职业生涯以及研究生毕业后的生活影响最大。本文简要叙述了 Gerry 影响我研究的诸多方面。重点放在了 Gerry 白手起家建立的 Stony Brook 团队在中子星研究上取得的重大进展。并指出了关于中子星尚待解决的若干谜题。
