中子星并合时可接近极高的核密度。在此，我们总结了使用多种含与不含向夸克物质交叉过渡的核状态方程得到的双中子星并合演化与引力波辐射的最新结果。我们讨论了双中子星并合的晚期引力波辐射如何可能揭示向夸克物质交叉过渡的存在。
