在 SUSY SU(5) GUT 模型中，中子电偶极矩（EDM）的现有估计比 MSSM 中的要小得多，尽管其自由度增加了。这一悖论结果可以通过在希格斯 sector 中适当估计 CP 破坏来化解。因此，在这个模型中，中子 EDM 的估计值比预期的更大。
