NEID揭示年轻温 Neptune 行星TOI-2076 b具有低轨道倾角

摘要

TOI-2076 b是一颗亚海王星大小的行星(R=2.39±0.10RR= 2.39 \pm 0.10 {R_\oplus}),它在一颗年轻(204±50MYr204 \pm 50 {MYr})、明亮(V=9.2V = 9.2)的K型矮星上凌星,该恒星拥有三颗凌星行星组成的系统。利用WIYN 3.5米望远镜上NEID光谱仪的光谱观测,我们对TOI-2076 b的Rossiter-McLaughlin效应进行建模,并推导出天空投影倾角λ=315+16\lambda=-3_{-15}^{+16\:\circ}。利用恒星大小(R=0.775±0.015RR=0.775 \pm0.015 {R_\odot})和恒星自转周期(Prot=7.27±0.23P_{\mathrm{rot}}=7.27\pm0.23天),我们估计其倾角为ψ=189+10\psi=18_{-9}^{+10\:\circ}(在95%置信度下ψ<34\psi < 34^\circ),表明TOI-2076 b处于良好对齐的轨道上。来自阿帕奇点天文台3.5米望远镜的同步漫射器辅助测光排除了凌星期间的耀斑。TOI-2076 b加入了一个小而不断增长的样本——即紧凑多行星系统中具有良好对齐轨道的年轻行星,并且是年龄300\lesssim 300 Myr、处于多凌星系统且拥有倾角测量的第四颗行星。TOI-2076 b的低倾角以及系统中存在的凌星时刻变率表明,TOI-2076系统很可能是在初始良好对齐的盘中通过收敛盘迁移形成的。
