摘要
我们回顾了斯皮策空间望远镜在近邻星系研究领域带来的主要进展，重点关注几个主题领域，包括：(1) 产生约 3.5 微米至约 20 微米中红外特征的多环芳烃的物理性质；(2) 利用星系的中远红外发射作为恒星形成率指标；(3) 改进中红外诊断方法，以区分星系和星系核中的热（恒星形成）和非热（活动星系核）发射。
