氘核上近阈值 $\pi^-$ 光生反应

摘要

首次给出了氘核上非相干 π\pi^- 光生反应 γ\gamma d -> π\pi^- pp 的近阈值截面的实验研究。实验技术涉及探测由靶中光生 π\pi^- 的辐射俘获所产生的约 131 MeV 伽马射线。总截面使用非极化标记光子束、液氘靶和三个非常大的 NaI(Tl) 谱仪进行了测量。数据与理论模型进行比较,从而深入了解基本反应 γ\gamma n -> π\pi^- p 以及介子-核子和核子-核子末态相互作用。
