低密度环境中早型矮星系的先天与后天特性

摘要
我们利用ESO-VLT的VIMOS观测到的高分辨率光谱，研究了一个位于贫星系群中的13个矮星系样本的星族参数。将LICK指数与简单星族模型进行比较，以推导年龄、金属丰度和[α/Fe]比值。将矮星系与居住在类似环境中的巨早型星系样本进行比较，我们发现矮星系平均而言比巨星系更年轻、金属丰度更低、α元素增强程度更低。发现年龄、Z和[α/Fe]比值均与速度弥散和形态相关。我们还发现可能的证据表明，低密度环境（LDE）矮星系经历了比Coma矮星系更持久的恒星形成历史，然而，需要更大的样本来得出确凿结论。
