纳米团簇介导非对映异构体稳定的铁电向列相体系中的相变

摘要

在过去的半个十年中,一类新的铁性流体——铁电向列相液晶(NFLC)因其巨大极化、高电光活性以及高流动性等优异特性而引起关注。尽管近期基于分子参数设计和开发新NFLC分子付出了巨大努力,但NF相变的控制与NF相的稳定化仍具挑战。本文从X射线衍射所考察的近晶层状cybotactic团簇形成角度,探讨DIO非对映异构体[transDIO(1)和cisDIO(2)]的混合对NF相变的影响。有趣的是,结果表明具有相似偶极矩与分子骨架的NFLC 1与非液晶2之间的平滑替换,在NF相变的改变中发挥作用。
