准一维半金属中多重对称保护的狄拉克节线

摘要

节线半金属(NLSMs)包含狄拉克/外尔型能带交叉节点,在倒空间中延伸为线、环和链的形状,导致新颖的能带拓扑与输运响应。抗自旋轨道耦合的稳健NLSM通常出现在具有更多对称操作以保护能带交叉线节点的三维材料中,而低维材料中的可能性鲜有讨论。本文在准一维非磁性半金属TaNiTe5中展示了稳健的NLSM相。结合角分辨光电子能谱测量与第一性原理计算,我们揭示了维度降低如何与非滑移对称性相互作用,并产生具有四重简并的多重狄拉克型节线。我们的发现表明(准)一维拓扑材料中存在丰富的物理与应用,并呼吁进一步研究量子限域与非平庸能带拓扑之间的相互作用。
