IC 4634 多点对称喷流现象

摘要
我们对行星星云 IC 4634 进行了时空-运动学研究，发现其经历了多次不同方向上的点对称喷流。该星云显示出两条S型低离子弧线，可能与两次相对较新的点对称喷流有关，其中外侧S型弧线是星际空间中一实例美丽的弓形冲击波。我们在此报告发现，IC 4634 中心星附近更大距离处存在一条类似弧形的星团链，这代表了一场更早期的点对称喷流。
