神秘伽马射线源3EG J1835+5918的多频研究

EGRET望远镜多次观测到3EG J1835+5918，它是一个明亮且稳定的高能伽马射线辐射源，但尚未被证认。我们重新分析了CGRO观测周期1至7中能量高于100 MeV和高于1 GeV的EGRET数据。该伽马射线源的位置是基于EGRET数据的最新且可能是最终的定位评估。我们特别关注了流量变率和谱变率的问题。给出了针对3EG J1835+5918的X射线/光学证认巡天的结果。一个可能与伽马射线源3EG J1835+5918相关联的天体具有孤立中子星的特征，并可能是一个射电宁静脉冲星。
