HD 209458 行星穿越的多色观测

摘要
我们报告了对 HD 209458 在 1999 年 11 月 15 日其行星伴随穿越期间的 B、V、R、I 和 Z 带光度观测结果，采用大学夏威夷 0.6m 与 2.2m 望远镜以及高海拔观测站 STARE 望远镜。穿越曲线的详细形状预计随颜色变化，这主要源于颜色相关的 limb-darkening 效应，亦可能源于行星大气中颜色相关的透明度效应。我们对光度曲线进行建模，给出穿越时机和轨道周期的精细值，便于计划该行星穿越的未来观测。我们还得出了行星半径、恒星半径和轨道倾角的显著改进测量值：R_p = 1.55 +/- 0.10 R_Jup，R_s = 1.27 +/- 0.05 R_Sun，i = 85.9 +/- 0.5 deg。所得行星半径支持行星具有低反照率的演化模型。
