新星V906 Car的多波段测光与前身星分析

摘要

我们给出了经典新星V906 Car(亦称Nova Car 2018和ASASSN-18fv)的光学和红外测光,该新星由ASAS-SN巡天于2018年3月16.32 UT(MJD 58193.0)发现。新星在MJD 58222.56达到极大,亮度Vmax=5.84±0.09V_{\rm{max}} = 5.84 \pm 0.09 mag,下降时间为t2,V=26.2t_{2,V} = 26.2 d和t3,V=33.0t_{3,V} = 33.0 d。Evryscope的数据表明,相比于其宁静星等g=20.13±0.03g=20.13\pm0.03,新星在发现前五天已增亮至g13g'\simeq 13 mag。由高分辨率光谱推导的新星消光估计与Carina星云的前消光一致,为AV=1.110.39+0.54A_V = 1.11_{-0.39}^{+0.54}。光变曲线类似于罕见的C(尖点)类新星,尖点耀发后下降斜率为α=3.94\alpha=-3.94。由光变曲线下降速率,我们估计白矮星质量MWD<0.8M_{WD} < 0.8M\odot,与由宁静期吸积盘建模得到的MWD=0.710.19+0.23M_{WD}=0.71^{+0.23}_{-0.19}一致。供体星可能为0.23–0.43\,\Msun的K-M型矮星,正被其伴星加热。
