摘要
除了其自身有趣之外，photon-photon interactions 将成为未来 electron-positron colliders 不可避免的 background。因此，为了能够量化未来 electron-positron colliders 的潜力，对这些 collisions 进行准确描述十分重要。本文介绍我们在 Pythia 8 event generator 中实现 photon-photon collisions 的正在进行的工作。首先我们总体介绍 photon PDFs，然后详细讨论我们研究中使用的特定一组。接着我们将讨论 Pythia 8 中的 parton-shower algorithm 在 photon beams 情况下如何修改，以及 beam remnants 如何构造。最后给出未来发展的简要展望。
