受量子引力想法的推动，过去十年中大量的努力投入到在各种体系下检验洛伦兹不变性。本综述总结了检验洛伦兹不变性的理论框架以及使新的高精度检验成为可能的实验进展。给出了来自地面实验和天体物理观测的对洛伦兹破坏效应的当前约束。
