摘要
在未来几年内，GAIA 以及数个旨在对系外行星进行成像的仪器将迎来初光。与此同时，人们正在红矮星周围搜寻低质量行星；与类太阳恒星相比，红矮星为径向速度探测和凌星研究提供了更为有利的条件。曾使得在热木星大气中探测到水蒸气成为可能的模型大气代码的作者们，回顾了恒星至次恒星过渡区建模的最新进展。修正后的太阳氧丰度与云模型首次使得再现该过渡区的测光与光谱性质成为可能。本文还展示了恒星、褐矮星与系外行星模型大气网格的亮点成果。
