具有超新星光度的分钟级光学耀发

摘要

近年来,某些发光河外光学瞬变源被观测到仅持续数天。其观测到的短持续时间意味着与最常见、时间尺度为数周的河外发光瞬变源(超新星)不同的供能机制。一些短持续时间瞬变源,最著名的是 AT2018cow,显示出偏蓝的光学颜色以及明亮的射电与 X 射线辐射。若干 AT2018cow 类瞬变源已显示出长寿命内嵌能源的线索,例如 X 射线变率、延长的紫外辐射、暂定的 X 射线准周期振荡,以及与快速(但亚相对论性)射电辐射抛射物耦合的大能量。在此我们报告在 AT2018cow 类瞬变源 AT2022tsd(“塔斯马尼亚恶魔”)余辉中观测到的分钟级光学耀发。这些耀发发生在数月时间内,具有极高能量且可能为非热辐射,意味着它们源自近相对论性外流或喷流。我们的观测确认,在某些 AT2018cow 类瞬变源中,内嵌能源是一致密天体,要么是磁星,要么是吸积黑洞。
