LHC 上的最小偏差与底事件

摘要
详细检验了 CDF PYTHIA 6.2 Tune DW 对 LHC 底事件 (UE) 数据在 900 GeV 和 7 TeV 下行为的预测。LHC 处的 UE 行为大致符合预期。LHC PYTHIA 6.4 Tune Z1 在描述 900 GeV 和 7 TeV 的 UE 数据方面表现出色。Tune DW 和 Tune Z1 都能较好地描述 1.96 TeV 和 7 TeV 下的 Drell-Yan UE 数据。没有任何模型能够描述 900 GeV 和 7 TeV 下“最小偏差”(MB) 碰撞的所有特征。
