X射线亮型星系团的金属化学性状

摘要
利用 Chandra X射线数据对 15 个 X射线亮型星系团进行观测，我们报告了关于星系团中热气体金属丰度径向分布的初步结果。组外的铁含量比团体低约为 2 倍，尽管在中心区域的平均水平与团体相当。所得丰度轮廓用于约束星系类型 Ia 和 II 超新星对不同星系团半径处星际介质化学富集和热能贡献。结果表明，星系团的显著部分化学富集可能在星系坍缩前通过丝状结构完成。
