我们展示了利用 MeerKAT UHF 和 L 波段观测偶然发现的新射电连续谱环状天体 Kyklos(J1802-3353)。该射电环与最近发现的奇异射电圈(ORCs)相似,直径为 80 角秒,位于银河平面仅 6 度处。然而,Kyklos 表现出非典型的热射电连续谱(α = -0.1 ± 0.3),这促使我们探索不同的可能形成机制。我们得出结论,在现有数据下,演化大质量恒星(可能为 Wolf-Rayet 星)周围的星周壳层是最令人信服的解释。
