利用 Timepix3 探测器测量纳米线阵列激光等离子体中产生的 D-D 聚变中子

摘要
我们给出了在采用 CD 纳米线靶的激光等离子体实验中进行中子探测的结果。使用覆盖有中子转换体的混合半导体像素探测器 Timepix3 来探测中子。D-D 聚变中子在聚乙烯转换体中通过反冲质子被探测到。我们同时确定了反冲质子的能量以及中子的飞行时间(从而确定其中子能量)。我们报道每 1~J 入射激光能量产生 个中子。此外,我们证明了 Timepix3 适用于激光实验中苛刻的运行条件。
