利用Tevatron上CDF II探测器测量ppbar碰撞中的ttbar自旋关联

摘要
产生时的ttbar自旋关联是QCD的一个基本预言，也是检验与顶夸克耦合的新物理的潜在敏锐手段。我们利用CDF II探测器重建的轻子加喷注衰变道中的1001个候选事件，在质心能量sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV的ppbar碰撞中测量了ttbar自旋态。在螺旋度基下，对于顶夸克质量172.5 GeV/c^2，我们发现自旋关联系数kappa = 0.60 +/- 0.50 (统计) +/- 0.16 (系统)，与QCD预言kappa ~= 0.40一致。
