\psi(2S) 共振态主要参数的测量

摘要

利用 VEPP-4M e^{+}e^{-}对撞机上的 KEDR 探测器,通过对 \psi(2S) -- \psi(3770) 能区进行三次扫描,高精度测定了 \psi(2S) 共振态的主要参数。通过拟合 \psi(2S) 附近多强子截面的能量依赖性,我们得到了质量值 M = 3686.114 +- 0.007 +- 0.011 ^{+0.002}_{-0.012} MeV,以及电子部分宽度与强子分支比的乘积 \Gamma_{ee}*B_{h} = 2.233 +- 0.015 +- 0.037 +- 0.020 keV。文中列出的第三个误差是对结果模型依赖性的估计,源于本文明确考虑的 e^{+}e^{-}单光子湮灭至强子的截面中的干涉效应假设。隐式地,许多实验在获取粲偶素轻子宽度和绝对分支比时也采用了相同的假设。利用本文结果及电子与强子分支比的世界平均值,可得 \psi(2S) 的电子部分宽度和总宽度:\Gamma_{ee} =2.282 +- 0.015 +- 0.038 +- 0.021 keV,\Gamma = 296 +- 2 +- 8 +- 3 keV。这些结果与以往实验一致,且精度提高了两倍以上。
