HERA 中弹性 Upsilon 光子生产的测量

摘要
使用 ZEUS 检测器在 HERA 上的 ep 相互作用中研究了 gamma p -> mu+ mu- p 的光子生产反应。数据样本对应有效辐射为 43.2 pb^{-1}。首次在光子生产中观察到 Upsilon 介子。Upsilon(1S)、Upsilon(2S)、Upsilon(3S) 弹性光子生产截面及其各自分支比之和测得为 13.3 +- 6.0(stat.)^{+2.7}_{-2.3}(syst.) pb，平均光子-质子中心质能为 120 GeV。该截面高于扰动量子色动力学模型的预测。
