利用 CDF II 探测器测量 b 重子

摘要
我们报告了对新底重子态的观测。最新结果是观测到了通过衰变 \Xi_b^- to J/\psi \Xi^- 产生的重子 \Xi_b^-。信号的显著性对应于 7.7 sigma，测得的 \Xi_b^- 质量为 5792.9 \pm 2.5(stat.) \pm 1.7(syst.) MeV/c^2。此外，我们在 \Lambda_b^0 \pi^{\pm} 谱中观测到四个共振态，与底重子 \Sigma_b^{(*)\pm} 一致。所有观测结果均与理论预期相符。
