探测来自宇宙黎明和再电离时期的微弱 21 cm 线辐射,不仅需要对仪器校准和系统误差进行精细控制以实现观测所需的动态范围,还需要验证分析技术以证明其统计特性和信号损失特性。实现这一目标的关键在于,能够对专为这些研究建造的大型、多单元射电干涉阵列所产生的数据类型进行高保真模拟。这些阵列的大规模带来了计算挑战,因为对于拥有数百个天线的阵列,必须模拟跨越数百个频率通道、数千个时间样本和数万条基线的详细天空和仪器模型。在本文中,我们提出了一种快速的矩阵化方法,用于在所需规模上模拟射电干涉测量(可见度)。我们通过合理利用主波束插值、坐标变换的快速近似,以及向量化外积将每天线量扩展为每基线可见度,并结合标准并行化技术来实现这一目标。我们在公开可用的 matvis 代码中实现了该方法,并将其结果与高精度参考模拟器进行了验证,同时探讨了其在各种问题上的计算扩展性。
