向上行性 μ 子及躲避中微子振荡中的物质效应

摘要
MACRO 检测器下方岩石中由大气中微子产生的向上行性 μ 子的角分布显示出与两色中微子-μ 子 --> 中微子-τ 振荡（最大混合，Δm²≈0.0024 eV²）相符的异常。利用物质效应随振荡通道而变化的特性，并结合 MACRO 记录的 809 个向上行性 μ 子，我们表明两种中微子-μ 子 --> 中微子-躲避中微子振荡在 99% 置信度下相对于中微子-μ 子 --> 中微子-τ 振荡被排除。
