质量测量证明氩中存在强N=28壳层间隙

摘要

我们展示了在密歇根州立大学国家超导回旋加速器实验室近期进行的飞行时间核质量测量结果。我们报道了48Ar和49Ar的首次质量测量,并分别得到原子质量过剩为-22.28(31) MeV和-17.8(1.1) MeV。这些质量提供了氩的中子数N=28为闭壳层性质的强有力证据,因此氩是表现出N=28闭壳层的最低偶Z元素。所得结合能差的趋势探测了N=28壳层的强度,其与使用SDPF-U和SDPF-MU哈密顿量在sd-pf壳层中的壳模型计算相符良好。
