摘要
我们展示了红移0.5<z<1.0的场早型星系的基本平面(FP)。我们的项目是我们理解不同环境中早型星系形成和演化的持续努力的一部分。目标星系选自Gemini/HST星系团项目的全面且均匀的数据集。与本地FP相比,遥远场早型星系遵循更陡峭的FP关系。FP斜率的改变可以解释为质量依赖的演化。在高红移星系团(0.8<z<1)中的团早型星系中也发现了类似的结果。因此,FP的斜率变化似乎与星系的环境无关。
