Algol 双星 RLOF 时的质量与角动量损失

我们对具有 B 型主星初始的双星进行了演化计算。包括在双星演化期间质量和角动量损失的宽松计算被加入到广泛的保守计算网格中。我们的计算与 Algol 双星轨道周期和质量比的观测分布进行了统计比较。保守的罗氏球体溢出 (RLOF) 能较好地再现轨道周期分布，但无法解释质量比在 0.4-1 范围内的观测分布。为获得更好的拟合，双星必须失去大量物质，同时-transfer 过多的角动量。
