无需钻探,可通过熔岩管洞穴评估火星地下宜居性与天体生物学。MACIE解决了十年调查(2013-2022)的两个关键目标和MEPAG的三个目标。机器人架构、自主导航、目标样本选择和分析方面的新进展将使MACIE能够探索火星地下。
