我们研究了块体 LaCrO3 的磁性质；这是一种 GdFeO3 型畸变钙钛矿，在约 290 K 处发生主要的反铁磁相变。块体 LaCrO3 在室温下表现出本征弱铁磁性，这可能是由于 CrO6 八面体的倾斜导致非零净磁矩所致，这一点已通过磁化测量得到证实。在 LaCrO3 系统中观察到一个宽泛的磁致熵变 ()，其最大值出现在接近室温的 290 K 处。
