太阳类恒星形成中的磁场

我们报告了对低质量原恒星系统NGC 1333 IRAS 4A进行的高角分辨率偏振尘埃辐射测量。我们表明，在该系统中，观测到的磁场形貌与标准理论模型一致，这些模型描述了在磁化分子云中形成太阳类恒星的过程，尺度为几百天文单位；重力已克服磁力支撑，磁场呈明显的沙漏形状。磁场在系统演化中才作用重要作用，磁场和自转轴的初始错位可能在形成双星系统中发挥重要作用。
