我们报告了在超新星遗迹 Kes 75 中心的年轻脉冲星 PSR J1846-0258 中探测到磁星式 X 射线暴。这颗长期以来被认为由自转供能的脉冲星，其推断的表面偶极磁场为 4.9x10^13 G，高于绝大多数自转供能脉冲星，但低于此前已识别的约 12 颗磁星。这些爆发伴随着流量的突然增加以及前所未有的计时行为变化。这些现象降低了与磁星式行为相关的磁场和自转阈值，并表明在中子星中存在一种随推断磁场强度增加而增强的磁活动连续谱。
