MWC 656(唯一已知的Be/BH系统)的MAGIC观测

背景:MWC 656最近被确认为首个观测探测到的高质量X射线双星系统,包含一个Be星和一个黑洞(BH)。该系统与AGILE卫星在2010年7月探测到的一次伽马射线耀发事件相关。目的:我们的目的是评估MWC 656的伽马射线发射是否延伸到甚高能(VHE > 100 GeV)伽马射线。方法:我们使用MAGIC望远镜在两次观测期间对MWC 656进行了\sim23小时的观测:2012年5月至6月以及2013年6月。在最后一期间,观测与X射线(XMM-Newton)和光学(STELLA)仪器同时进行。结果:我们在两次开展的观测活动中均未用MAGIC望远镜在TeV能量上探测到MWC 656双星系统。设定了300 GeV以上积分流的上限(ULs),以及约为蟹状星云通量\sim5%水平的微分上限。MAGIC观测获得的结果不支持该系统存在水平为蟹状星云通量2.4%的甚高能伽马射线持续发射。
