研究了在膨胀宇宙中与静态磁背景相互作用的玻恩-英费尔德电磁波。玻恩-英费尔德电动力学的非线性特性修改了能量流量与源距离之间的关系，该关系获得了对红移的新依赖性，由背景场控制。我们计算了作为红移函数的光度距离，并与Ia型超新星的麦克斯韦曲线进行了比较。
