低金属蓝紧致矮星作为原始星形成的模板

摘要
理解星系如何形成其第一颗恒星是一项关键的宇宙学问题，但通过观察高红移天体直接捕捉其形成第一颗恒星的过程十分困难。本文主张，两种极低金属蓝紧致矮星(IZw18和SBS0335-052)可作为原始星形成的局部模板，因为它们缺乏超过1 Gyr年龄的演化恒星群，但星际形成方式不同。
