摘要
我们研究了凹腔和介质加载腔,以将轴子腔式晕镜的搜寻范围扩展到更低质量,即轴子暗物质实验(ADMX)已搜寻范围以下。我们对凹腔和介质加载腔进行了数值模拟,以计算并优化其形状因子与品质因数。我们搭建了一个凹腔原型,并将其测量特性与模拟结果进行了比较。我们估算了在华盛顿大学现有 ADMX 磁体以及费米实验室正在安装的大型磁体中插入凹腔和介质加载腔进行轴子暗物质搜寻的灵敏度。
