Z玻色子纵向极化与希格斯玻色子产生截面

摘要
我们研究了 LHC（及 HL-LHC）通过测量 Drell-Yan 产生过程精确确定质子在中型 Bjorken- 处胶子部分子分布函数的潜力。为此，我们利用一个干净且理论预言良好的可观测量：与 Z 玻色子纵向极化相关的 Drell-Yan 轻子角系数 。通过使用开源 xFitter 平台的详细数值分析，我们说明该可观测量如何对当前胶子 PDF 的确定提供显著灵敏度，并将希格斯玻色子产生截面的 PDF 不确定性降低超过 50\%。
