我们论证，在超对称模型中，轻的stop衰变到chargino的过程可能通过Tevatron上为顶夸克计数实验设计的截断，而信号没有显著减少。与标准模型顶夸克事件相比，通过stop衰变的顶夸克事件在stop→b wino道中被探测到的效率相当。更重要的是，轻stop的直接对产生对截断样本有显著贡献。许多stop质量低于100 GeV的超对称模型，即使Γ(t→stop) ≈ Γ(t→bW)，仍然是可行的。
