摘要
我们回顾了宇宙微波背景辐射的温度各向异性和偏振理论，并描述了从当前CMB观测中获得的认知。我们特别讨论了如何利用CMB精确测量可观测宇宙的组成和几何结构，并约束早期宇宙的物理过程。我们还简要回顾了再电离时期及之后产生的小尺度CMB涨落的物理机制，这些涨落是新一代角分分辨率仪器的观测目标。
